labor of love

May 1 is Labor Day Celebration in the Philippines and I spent all day "laboring" on soooo many things...

5:00am - 9:00am - talked to Sweetcorn, work out in Makati, good breakfast
9:00am - 12:00nn - went to Divi to buy souvenir packaging for the wedding
12:00nn - 4:00pm - went to Quiapo to buy more souvenir stuff
4:00pm - 6:00pm - went to Tiendesitas to check out barongs
7:00pm - 10:00pm - time to work on the wedding souvenirs!

Though it was a tiring day, I'm so happy because I have accomplished a lot. I'm actually rushing to do things now because in two weeks' time, Sweetcorn will be here and we will give my (soon-to-be) mother-in-law updates on the wedding. I am so excited to show her everything!

Carrying 100 bottles earlier on my own, I found myself wishing that Sweetcorn was here, helping me with the preparations. I felt sad once again, thinking about our situation. But after talking to him, all sadness and tiredness just faded away hearing how excited he is about everything and how appreciative of all my efforts. Thinking about it, he's lucky because I always consult him and asks for his comments (though he would probably say I lead the conversation and he ends up agreeing with what I say!). Well, we all know that guys have great ideas about weddings....but let's not ask them ;)

It's been a long day! Goodnight. I just wanted to post this because the next post marks my 300th and I think I know what to publish....

Goodnight friends! See you on my next post!
