hmmm...

Here's to the old times
and the best of new ones
Here's to a song of glee
Finding the way from illusion to reality

Hoping to wake up from this madness
hoping to see you smile
Pushing the way to the limits of yours and mine

I'm growing up, getting down
keeping my both feet on the ground
with all my friends behind me
how can I go wrong this time?
I'm growing up, getting down
Thank God reality came around
Not just waiting for the daybreak,
expecting the sun to shine
It doesn't shine all the time

Falling in love and falling apart
You think it's the end of the line
Pour your heart out cryin'
then you'll feel just fine

If you're thinking that you're the only one
then take a look around and you'll find
I'll be there where you are
I've been out and now I'll say...

NBA!

Where were you on Jan. 22, 2006? It's a night that will live in basketball lore for quite some time. Kobe Bryant tallied 81 points against the Raptors in a 122-104 Lakers win. The 81 is the second highest single-game point total in NBA history, behind only Wilt Chamberlain's 100 over 40 years ago.

With no footage of Wilt's perfomance around, Kobe's night becomes something that the NBA has never seen before. People across the league are buzzing about the historic night.

"I've seen some remarkable games but I've never seen anything like that before," added Lakers coach Phil Jackson, who played against Chamberlain and coached Jordan.

How do you numb your skin
After the warmest touch

How do you slow your blood

After the body rush

How do you free your soul

After you’ve found a friend

How do you teach your heart

It’s a crime to fall in love again...

aaarrgghh.

So little time so much to do,
I’d rather spend my days with you

So little time so much to do,

I’d like to spend one day with you
And if that day is not enough,
Maybe we can stay in touch,
But I’m not making plans for tomorrow,
For tomorrow never comes...

So many things to do, so little time. I swear, 24 hours is not enough!!!!

I'm really bothered. Really. And it's ruining my week!

What to do, what to do......

The highlight of today is this:

My first trophy! Yahoo!

What to do, what to do....

*poof*

gold and bronze

Pictures from our Gawad Kalinga Build at our chapter's adopted site! I had fun helping build these homes. Made me all excited about my unit! Can't wait to move in and decorate! We watched the Pacquiao/Morales fight here at the site. Everybody was cheering! It was a different experience. Fun, fun.

Congratulations Pacman!

Pictures from dinner with new friends from Victory. I can't believe RR is getting married. Darn it. Hahaha.

So tired and sleepy. Goodnight friends. Off to the land of dreams - tonight I'll be dreaming of .....

=p

cycles

I feel bothered. Really.

I feel so disappointed. We lost him. I still can't get over it.

Hey girl, I'm here for you. We will back you up, whatever you decide. Kung kailangan lunurin, kahit di ako umiinom, for you - game ako!

God works in mysterious ways. If you can't see God's hand, trust His heart.

*Hug*Hug*Hug*

go with the flow!

I had the best time tonight catching up with ex-URC officemates! I'm soooo happy to see you guys again! The date is set .... congratulations Lou and Tatts! Need nothing, appreciate everything - words of wisdom once again from Teacher Ariel. URC days seem so far behind. I so enjoy reminiscing about past gimmicks and "kalokohans" with these guys. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been liked if we all stayed...hmmm...(*wink*wink*)

Next stop was the anniv party of El Pescador in Metrowalk. Seriously, one change in career coming up! Oh well. I had a few personal "struggles" in this event. I can't believe that some people can easily fall into the trap. I hate being put in compromising situations. I think I should take Pitviper's advice. I don't know. It somehow doesn't feel right especially since I have been in the same situation. Life, oh, life!

Gotta sleep. Need strength for tomorrow's bum day. Hahaha.

Sweet dreams everyone!

10 Things I Learned About My Pinatubo Trek

1. 4x4s are great rides! They didn't let me drive it! I wonder how it feels crossing rivers, driving over big boulders. Oh well.

2. It takes around 3 hours to go up and 2 hours to go down.

3. Natural spring water doesn't cause diarrhea. Or even wakes up the E Coli monster!

4. Wear the right kind of shoes for terrains like Pinatubo.

5. Duct tape is VERY useful.

6. Bring a walking stick. It can save your life!

7. You don't need to carry anything on the trek. Let the guys carry your stuff for you. Ha!

8. Enjoy the view!

9. Going on trips like these is best enjoyed with friends, packed sandwiches, bananas, and water.

10. Even bad experiences can yield good results - and great views! This is true for a lot of things.

Overall, it was a fun experience. Next stop - Mt. Maculot!

Coolness =)

Sa isang gabing pagtatagpo
Saan tayo tutungo?

Maghihiwalay ba ang landas natin?

O sabay na magpapadala

Sa pabugsu-bugsong hangin?

life, oh, life!

When I try so hard to tell you
And I search for what my heart
Would really say
Words only get in the way

And you ask me if I need you
When you know damn well I do

You don't have to worry

I'll be forever for you

If we only took the time

Just to say whats on our mind

Well be closer than ever

Grow old together as one

Eternally - so say you'll be forever for me

Yeah, yeah. I'm feeling mushy tonight. Can't get over the feeling. Aaarrggh. Thank God I have school tomorrow. Keeps my mind off things. Thank you, Golls, for the lyrics of these songs.

New snow, fallin', softly, round me

Second chance to make things alright

Like a new love, calling, new snow is falling

Just outside my window tonight

Just outside my window...

Enough of this. I have work to do. I really pray I get to go to this week's climb. Seems like everybody's concerned (too concerned, I must say) about me - coming from the hospital and all. Again, I cannot stress it enough -- people, I am okay!

Well, alright. Except for the mushiness. That I have to recover from.

Oh well. Let's wait and see.

Only in the Philippines! I loooove it!

walang humpay na ligaya

I felt goose bumps all over my body as I watch ASAP's tribute to the Eraserheads. They featured the tribute album "ultraelectromagneticjam" performed by various Filipino artists. I feel so proud and so sentimental hearing all those great, ORIGINAL songs! And hearing the tribute album, I couldn't help but think....... maybe? I don't really know. But there used to be a big chance. Oh well.
Anyways, I just got back from our "little project". My friends and I decided to grant wishes to kids. So today, at the UP Lagoon, we gave our wish kids their special treats! Zive (6) and Trixie (3) really, really brightened up our day. It's such a wonderful experience!

Akin ka na lang (akin ka na lang)
Iingatan ko ang puso mo
Akin ka na lang (akin ka na lang)
Wala nang hihigit pa sa ‘yo...

of new year's resolutions

I seriously need an accountability partner. It hasn't even been a week and I have already crossed out two of 2006 resolutions! I bought 2 pairs of shoes and 2 OPM CDs! Aaarggh. Maybe new year's resolutions are really meant to be NOT fulfilled?

Or maybe it's not my thing! Hahaha.

Gotta run. Have to be up and early tomorrow for my UP trip. Goodnight!

I want to leave a legacy

How will they remember me?

Did I choose to love? Did I point to You enough
To make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace
Who blessed your name unapologetically

And leave that kind of legacy...

rockin' 2006!

Happy, Happy New Year dear friends!

I am finally up and about, after spending a whole week in bed - recovering from no less than the E Coli virus! A whole week watching the 4400, lots of TV (what is the matter with the world?!?!), lots of bathroom visits, playing poker, reading books, and just plain feeling weak and helpless! What can I say? Health is wealth. That's my life statement for 2006.

This post is dedicated to everyone who has helped me the past year. Thank you so much for being such a blessing in my life! It has been one rollercoaster ride, huh? But like what I always say, things happen for a reason. Thank you, friends! I never would have made it without your love, support, kindness, and generosity. And a few shots of Hpnotiq, Patron, and Amarula too! (not for me though - maybe that can be my 2006 resolution? learn to drink alcohol?!?! --- naaah.)

Happy New Year again! Looking forward to a great year ahead for all of us!

It's all good =)
