" I can only give you country walks in springtime
And a hand to hold when leaves begin to fall..."

When I look at this picture, (drawn by my sweet Cesar - engineers are definitely creative people!) I can't help but smile and look forward to good days, good times ahead with my lovey. God is truly a loving God - He has blessed me with a good person and I am forever grateful for this. I love being a significant someone in my lovey's life. I love being part of a happy couple! Here's praying that our love for each other will continue to grow and that we may never forget that God is the center of this beautiful, wonderful, and happy relationship!

blogthings and some

bored, bored, bored...thanks tet for these quizzes! trying to look busy... hehehe

You Are Most Like Carrie!

You're quirky, flirty, and every guy's perfect first date.
But can the guy in question live up to your romantic ideal?
It's tough for you to find the right match - you're more than a little picky.
Never fear... You've got a great group of friends and a
great closet of clothes, no matter what!

Romantic prediction: You'll fall for someone this year...
Totally different from any guy you've dated.

You Are Low Maintenance

Otherwise known as "too good to be true"
You're one laid back chica - and men love that!
Just remember that no good guy likes a dormat.
So if you find your self going along to get along...
Stop yourself and put up a little bit of a fight.

You Attract A Good Amount of Guys

While you may not get the most offers in the room,
You've got a good thing going - dating wise
You could flirt more and dress up a bit to attract more guys
But in general, you are doing just fine!

You Go For Brains and Body!

You like a guy who can make your heart melt with his smile...
But he's got to have something in his head to really draw you in.
You're not superficial - just honest!

You Should Be With a Water Sign!

Your best match is a Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces

Why? You crave intimacy and connection in your relationship
And while most guys can't open up enough for you, a Water Sign can
Not that you're whole relationship will be soul gazing
A Water Sign matches your goofy sense of humor - and desire to help others.

You Are Red Wine

You're not a big drinker, and when you do drink, you go for the best.
You probably know a good deal about wines, and you know how to order a great bottle.
When you drink too much, you tend to flirt - but only in a subtle, understated way.
You prefer to date a man who's worldly and wise. He's got to be as sophisticated as you are.

Your Love Song Is

Thank You by Dido

"And I want to thank you for giving me
The best day of my life
Oh, just to be with you is having
The best day of my life."

It's all good, as long as you're in love.

okay enough...see you all in Prince of Jaipur later for the launch party of the Pole Dancing Competition...brought to you by Jagermeister (Stag Party Series) =)

Kobe turns 24!

I have been out of the loop lately about NBA updates. My brother filled me in on the latest scoop!

Amare Stoudemire - changed his jersey number from 32 to 1
Ben Wallace - left Detroit (why, oh why!?!?!?!) and joined Chicago Bulls

And the most shocking news (well, at least for me!) ......

Kobe's new jersey number is 24...violent reactions here! I did some research and apparently, Bryant began his career at Lower Merion High School wearing No. 24. So there you go! Sentimental reasons, eh? I secretly wish, though, that he pick the number 27 (hahaha...then I get to wear his jersey!)

Oh well. More news as the season approaches!

culture and some

I wasn't planning on going out yesterday. I was all set - spending a lazy day at home with a good book. But duty calls (or should I say friendship) and I was out of the house by 2pm. It was SM Megamall Day for me!

First stop. Cinema 4 - Joseph the Dreamer

It was a very good play. Franco Laurel is the new Joseph, succeeding the likes of Gary Valenciano and Audie Gemora (which, by the way, I was lucky enough to watch too!). The music is great! I was surprised that I was still able to sing along. Familiar tunes, bringing me back 11 years ago (hehehe). The show ran for less than 2 hours with no intermission break. The stage was very simple, a little too simple maybe, but it was perfect given the little space that the actors had to move in. The costumes were really colorful and inspiring. Raymund Concepcion and Rychard Everly played supporting roles and it was so nice to see these familiar actors on stage once again. Oh, to be an actor! How I wish..... =)

Kudos to Mr. Freddie Santos and the Trumpets cast!
Note: Pictures from the blog of Mr. Oliver Oliveros

2nd Stop, Starbucks, Megastrip - Free Movie!

At 6pm, everybody was hungry. After a good meal at French Baker, we were off to Starbucks to enjoy a good cup of coffee! Lo and behold! There was a big projector screen set up just outside the strip, showing "Save the Last Dance" and "Fantastic Four". We stayed and watched for a while. Chris Evans is sooooo hot! The torch indeed. Hahahaha =)

Last stop, Cinema 3 - Philippine Idol

Our friend, Allan, designs some of the outfits for Mamita, one of PI's judges. He was able to sneak us in! And we were seated on the 3rd row too! Yey! Day one of the Finals. All 12 contestants gave great performances. But of course, we have our own favorites. It was nice to finally see this show live. I really enjoyed watching the show and playing judge (Hehehe).

Text GIAN and send to 2339. Text POW and send to 2339. =)

Got home around 12mn. Talked to my lovey and off to bed by 2am. It was a good day. I love it!
